Refund policy
RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
Effective date: July 21, 2026
Greenfield Products, Inc. wants customers to be satisfied with products purchased directly from greenfieldproducts.com. This Returns and Refunds Policy explains which purchases are eligible for return, how to request a return, and how refunds are processed.
1. Purchases covered by this policy
This policy applies only to products purchased directly from Greenfield Products, Inc. through the standard checkout on greenfieldproducts.com.
Products purchased through Walmart, Amazon, Buy with Prime, another online marketplace, a marine dealer, or another retailer are subject to the return and refund policies of the seller or checkout service through which the order was placed.
A “Buy on Walmart” button redirects the customer to Walmart. An order completed on Walmart is a Walmart order and must be returned through Walmart.
A purchase completed through Buy with Prime is subject to the shipping, return, and customer-service terms presented during the Buy with Prime checkout process.
2. Thirty-day return period
Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days after the order is delivered.
The return request must be submitted within the 30-day period. Once Greenfield authorizes the return and provides a prepaid return label, the package must be given to the designated carrier within 14 calendar days.
Greenfield accepts eligible returns for both:
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect products; and
- Non-defective products that the customer no longer wants.
3. Condition requirements
For a non-defective return, the product must be:
- Unused;
- Uninstalled;
- Unmodified;
- Complete with all components, accessories, instructions, and hardware originally included;
- Free from damage, excessive wear, corrosion, contamination, or abuse; and
- Packaged safely for return transportation.
Opening a package and reasonably inspecting a product does not, by itself, make the product ineligible for return.
However, non-defective products generally cannot be returned after they have been installed, cut, altered, submerged, deployed, dragged, loaded, tensioned, used on a boat, or otherwise put into service.
Examples include, without limitation:
- Anchor rope or dock line that has been cut;
- Chain that has been cut or modified;
- An anchor that has been deployed or dragged along a bottom;
- Hardware that has been permanently installed;
- A bungee product that has been overstretched, damaged, or used for an unauthorized purpose; or
- A product missing material components.
These restrictions do not prevent a customer from reporting a product that arrived defective or that failed during reasonable use.
4. Free return shipping
Greenfield pays the return shipping cost for every return that Greenfield approves under this policy.
Eligible customers will receive a prepaid return shipping label or equivalent return instructions. No restocking fee is charged on an eligible return.
Customers should not mail a product to Greenfield without first obtaining return authorization. Unapproved packages may be refused, delayed, or returned to the sender.
5. Starting a return
To request a return, contact:
Greenfield Products, Inc.
Email: ecommerce@greenfieldproducts.com
Phone: (937) 981-2696
Online: Use the Contact form on greenfieldproducts.com
Include:
- The Greenfield order number;
- The purchaser’s name and email address;
- The product being returned;
- The reason for the return; and
- Photographs when the product arrived damaged, appears defective, or is not the product ordered.
Greenfield will review the request and provide return authorization, a prepaid shipping label, and packaging instructions when the return is eligible.
6. Refund amount
For an eligible return, Greenfield will refund:
- The price paid for the returned product; and
- Applicable sales tax associated with that product.
Original outbound shipping charges are not refunded when a non-defective product is returned because the customer changed their mind or no longer wants the product.
Greenfield will refund standard outbound shipping charges when:
- Greenfield shipped the wrong product;
- The product arrived damaged or materially defective;
- Greenfield made an order or fulfillment error; or
- Applicable law otherwise requires the charges to be refunded.
Premium or expedited shipping upgrades are not refundable unless Greenfield failed to provide the purchased service or applicable law requires a refund.
7. Refund processing time
After the return is received, Greenfield will inspect it and notify the customer of the refund decision.
Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method within five business days after inspection. Depending on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider, it may take up to 10 business days total for the credit to appear.
Greenfield cannot issue a refund to a different payment method unless required by law or the original payment method is no longer available and an alternative arrangement is approved.
8. Ineligible or materially damaged returns
Greenfield does not charge a standard restocking fee.
However, Greenfield may deny or reduce a refund when a non-defective item:
- Does not satisfy the return-condition requirements;
- Is missing material parts or accessories;
- Was damaged after delivery;
- Was improperly packaged for return shipping;
- Shows use beyond reasonable inspection; or
- Was returned through fraud, abuse, or material misrepresentation.
Greenfield will explain any denial or reduction to the customer.
9. Damaged, incorrect, or incomplete orders
Customers should inspect their orders promptly after delivery.
Contact Greenfield as soon as reasonably possible if an order:
- Arrives damaged;
- Contains the wrong product or variant;
- Is missing a product or material component; or
- Shows evidence of shipping damage.
Photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and damaged area may be required so Greenfield can investigate the shipment and provide an appropriate resolution.
Greenfield may offer a replacement, replacement component, repair, or refund depending on the circumstances and the customer’s legal rights.
10. Defective products and warranty claims
The 30-day return policy is separate from any written product warranty that may apply.
After 30 days, customers may contact Greenfield for product support or to make a claim under an applicable product-specific written warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and remedies vary by product and are governed by the written warranty supplied or made available for that product.
This policy does not limit any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
11. Exchanges
Greenfield does not process direct product-for-product exchanges through the online return system.
A customer who wants another product, size, color, or configuration should return the eligible original product and place a new order.
If Greenfield shipped an incorrect product, Greenfield may arrange a replacement without requiring the customer to place another order.
12. Order cancellations
A customer may request cancellation before an order enters fulfillment.
Greenfield cannot guarantee that a cancellation or address-change request can be completed after the order has been submitted. Once an order has shipped or can no longer be stopped, the customer may use the return process described above.
13. Final-sale and customized items
A product is final sale only when the product page and checkout clearly identify it as “Final Sale” before purchase.
Customized, specially manufactured, or materially altered products may be non-returnable when that restriction is clearly disclosed before purchase. This restriction does not apply to products that arrive defective, damaged, or different from what was ordered.
14. Return abuse
Greenfield may refuse transactions or returns involving fraud, repeated policy abuse, altered products, falsified evidence, counterfeit products, product substitution, or other unlawful activity.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
Effective date: July 21, 2026
This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to orders placed directly through the standard checkout on greenfieldproducts.com.
1. Where Greenfield ships
Greenfield currently accepts direct online orders for delivery to eligible addresses within the United States.
The checkout determines whether a particular address and product are eligible for delivery.
Delivery to the following destinations may be unavailable or subject to additional restrictions:
- P.O. boxes;
- APO, FPO, and DPO addresses;
- Alaska and Hawaii;
- United States territories;
- Freight-forwarding locations; and
- Locations outside the United States.
An order is not accepted until checkout is completed and Greenfield sends an order confirmation.
2. Order processing time
Most in-stock orders are processed for shipment within one to three business days after payment authorization.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and days on which Greenfield or its applicable fulfillment provider is closed.
Order-processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Orders involving multiple products, heavy products, oversized products, inventory stored at different fulfillment locations, address verification, payment review, or other special circumstances may require additional processing time.
3. Estimated delivery time
Standard carrier transit normally takes approximately two to seven business days after shipment.
The estimated delivery date shown at checkout or in the order confirmation is the best estimate available for that order. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless Greenfield expressly identifies a delivery service as guaranteed.
Weather, carrier disruptions, rural delivery routes, holiday volume, emergencies, incorrect addresses, and other circumstances outside Greenfield’s control may affect delivery.
4. Shipping rates
Available shipping methods and charges are displayed during checkout before payment is submitted.
Shipping charges may depend on:
- Delivery destination;
- Product weight;
- Package dimensions;
- Number of packages;
- Selected delivery speed;
- Carrier rates; and
- Applicable fulfillment method.
Greenfield does not promise free shipping on every direct order. Free or discounted shipping applies only when it is expressly displayed for the applicable product, destination, checkout method, or promotion.
5. Heavy products and separate packages
Many Greenfield products—including anchors, anchor chain, anchor kits, and related marine equipment—are heavy.
An order may be divided into multiple packages for safe or efficient delivery. Packages from the same order may arrive on different days and may have separate tracking numbers.
A split shipment does not create an additional shipping charge unless the customer approved that charge before completing the order.
6. Carriers and fulfillment providers
Greenfield may use national parcel carriers, regional carriers, Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment, or another authorized fulfillment provider.
Greenfield may select or change the carrier used for an order when doing so does not materially reduce the delivery service purchased by the customer.
Carrier instructions, access restrictions, signature requirements, and delivery-location policies may apply.
7. Tracking
When tracking is available, Greenfield will send tracking information to the email address or telephone number provided with the order.
Tracking may take time to become active after a label is created. A “label created” status does not necessarily mean the carrier has taken possession of the package.
8. Accurate delivery information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate:
- Recipient name;
- Street address;
- Apartment, suite, unit, or building number;
- City, state, and ZIP code;
- Email address; and
- Telephone number when requested.
Contact Greenfield immediately if an address needs to be corrected.
Greenfield cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once fulfillment has begun. The customer may be responsible for costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address when the error was not caused by Greenfield.
9. Delivery attempts and refused packages
The customer is responsible for making reasonable arrangements to receive the shipment.
Carrier charges arising from an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal of an undamaged order, or failure to retrieve a package may be deducted from a refund where permitted by law.
This does not apply when Greenfield or the carrier caused the delivery problem.
10. Shipping delays
If Greenfield learns that it cannot ship within the promised time, Greenfield will provide an updated estimate and, when required, allow the customer to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a refund.
Greenfield may cancel and refund an order when:
- The product is unavailable;
- The delivery address cannot be serviced;
- A material pricing or inventory error occurred;
- Payment cannot be verified;
- The order presents a fraud or safety concern; or
- Shipment is prohibited by law or carrier requirements.
11. Lost shipments
A package is not considered lost merely because tracking has not updated for a short period.
Customers should contact Greenfield when:
- Tracking shows delivery but the package cannot be located;
- The carrier’s estimated delivery date has passed by at least three business days; or
- Tracking indicates that the package is lost, damaged, or being returned to sender.
Greenfield may ask the customer to check the delivery location, household members, neighbors, building management, and carrier notices before opening a carrier investigation.
Greenfield will work with the carrier and provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate resolution when a covered shipment is confirmed lost.
12. Shipping damage
Customers should retain the product and all original packaging when a shipment arrives damaged.
Contact Greenfield promptly and provide photographs of:
- The shipping carton;
- The shipping label;
- Internal packaging;
- The product; and
- The damaged area.
Do not dispose of the package until Greenfield confirms that it is no longer needed for the claim.
13. Buy with Prime orders
Shipping promises displayed through Buy with Prime apply only to an eligible order completed using Buy with Prime.
Buy with Prime delivery dates, shipping benefits, tracking, returns, and customer support are governed by the terms presented through that checkout experience.
A Buy with Prime delivery promise does not automatically apply to the standard Greenfield Shopify checkout.
14. Walmart and other retailer orders
A “Buy on Walmart” or similar retailer button redirects the customer away from the Greenfield checkout.
Shipping charges, delivery estimates, order tracking, cancellations, and returns for purchases completed through Walmart, Amazon, or another retailer are governed by that retailer and the seller identified on the order.
15. Contact
Questions about a direct Greenfield order may be directed to:
Greenfield Products, Inc.

Phone: (937) 981-2696
Please include the Greenfield order number.

United States
The storefront name “The Greenfield Products Store” refers to the online store operated by Greenfield Products, Inc.

- Privacy Policy.
Do not use the Site if you do not agree to these Terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a purchase.
If you use the Site on behalf of a company or another organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Product information
Greenfield makes reasonable efforts to present accurate product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, specifications, compatibility information, pricing, and availability.
Colors and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, coating variations, and manufacturing tolerances.
Measurements and weights may be approximate unless expressly identified as exact.
Packaging, product components, finishes, and specifications may be updated when the change does not materially reduce the product’s intended function or when the change is disclosed before purchase.
5. Product selection and boating conditions
Anchor recommendations, boat-size ranges, selection charts, scope guidance, bottom-type recommendations, and similar information are general educational guidance.
Actual performance depends on conditions including:
- Boat size, design, and weight;
- Bottom composition;
- Water depth;
- Wind;
- Waves;
- Current;
- Scope;
- Chain or rode configuration;
- Installation;
- Product condition; and
- Proper operation.
No chart or product-size statement can account for every boat, body of water, weather condition, or use.
Customers are responsible for selecting suitable equipment, following product instructions, using appropriate chain and line, allowing adequate scope, inspecting equipment, monitoring conditions, and complying with applicable boating rules.
6. Safety and authorized use
Greenfield products must be used only for their stated purpose and in accordance with supplied instructions and warnings.
Unless a product expressly states otherwise, Greenfield recreational marine products are not designed for:
- Human suspension or life support;
- Climbing;
- Fall protection;
- Rescue;
- Lifting overhead loads;
- Towing persons, boats, or vehicles;
- Tubing or watersports;
- Securing a person;
- Permanent unattended mooring; or
- Any use in which product failure could directly cause death or serious bodily injury.
Bungee anchor and dock lines must never be used as tow ropes. Elastic products can store substantial energy and should be handled carefully.
Anchoring and docking equipment should be inspected before each use and replaced if worn, cut, corroded, deformed, damaged, overstretched, or otherwise compromised.
7. Availability
A product shown on the Site may become unavailable before an order is fulfilled.
Greenfield may limit quantities, decline an order, cancel an order, or discontinue a product. If Greenfield cancels a paid order, Greenfield will refund the affected amount.
The Site will not knowingly charge a customer for a product Greenfield cannot provide without offering the customer an appropriate remedy.
8. Prices, promotions, and errors
Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless otherwise stated.
Taxes, shipping charges, and other applicable charges are disclosed before the customer submits payment.
Greenfield may correct typographical, pricing, inventory, promotional, or product-information errors. Greenfield may cancel an order affected by a material error and issue a refund.
A promotion is valid only for the period, products, customers, and checkout methods stated in its terms. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly allowed.
9. Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase.
Greenfield may review, accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order for lawful reasons, including:
- Product unavailability;
- Pricing or inventory errors;
- Suspected fraud;
- Payment problems;
- Resale or diversion concerns;
- Shipping restrictions;
- Safety concerns; or
- Violation of these Terms.
An automated order acknowledgment does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
10. Payment
Customers must provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.
By submitting payment information, the customer represents that they are authorized to use the payment method and authorizes the applicable charges.
At least one conventional payment method will be made available through the checkout when the Site is accepting direct orders.
11. Taxes
Applicable sales tax is calculated and collected based on the transaction, delivery destination, and applicable law.
Customers remain responsible for taxes, duties, or charges not collected by Greenfield where applicable.
12. Shipping, title, and returns
Shipping and delivery are governed by the Shipping and Delivery Policy.
Returns, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the Returns and Refunds Policy.
The policies presented on the Site at the time of purchase form part of the transaction.
13. Third-party purchasing options
The Site may display links or checkout options operated by third parties, including Walmart and Buy with Prime.
When a customer completes a purchase through a third party:
- The identified third-party seller or platform processes the order;
- The third party’s checkout and account terms apply;
- Shipping and delivery promises are provided through that checkout;
- Returns and refunds are handled according to the applicable third-party process; and
- Greenfield’s direct-order policies apply only to the extent expressly stated.
Greenfield is not responsible for the independent operation of a third-party website or checkout, although Greenfield may assist with product questions.
14. Accounts
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts.
Notify Greenfield promptly if an account or order appears to have been accessed without authorization.
Greenfield may suspend or terminate accounts associated with fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these Terms.
15. Reviews and user content
Customers may be permitted to submit reviews, photographs, questions, comments, or other content.
By submitting content, the customer confirms that:
- The content is truthful and based on genuine experience;
- The customer has the right to submit it;
- It does not violate another person’s rights;
- It is not unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or misleading; and
- Any material relationship, incentive, or free product has been properly disclosed.
Greenfield may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Submitting content grants Greenfield a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, and use the content in connection with Greenfield’s business and marketing, subject to applicable privacy law.
Greenfield will not condition support, warranty service, or a refund on the submission of a positive review.
16. Intellectual property
The Site and its text, product names, brands, logos, photographs, videos, guides, diagrams, graphics, page designs, and other content are owned by or licensed to Greenfield and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Customers may use Site content for personal, noncommercial shopping and product-use purposes.
No person may, without authorization:
- Copy or republish substantial Site content;
- Remove trademarks or copyright notices;
- Use Greenfield content to create a competing listing or product;
- Scrape the Site in a manner that disrupts it;
- Impersonate Greenfield;
- Register confusingly similar names or domains; or
- Suggest sponsorship or authorization that does not exist.
17. Prohibited conduct
Users may not:
- Use the Site unlawfully;
- Submit false order or account information;
- Commit payment fraud;
- Introduce malware or harmful code;
- Interfere with Site security;
- Attempt unauthorized access;
- Harvest personal information;
- Circumvent purchase restrictions;
- Misuse discount codes;
- Substitute products in a return;
- Submit fraudulent warranty or shipping claims; or
- Use the Site to infringe another party’s rights.
18. Product warranties
A product is covered by a written warranty only when Greenfield or the applicable manufacturer expressly provides one.
The duration, coverage, exclusions, claim procedure, and remedies of a written warranty are governed by the product-specific warranty document.
Nothing in these Terms:
- Expands a product-specific written warranty;
- Eliminates a warranty that cannot legally be excluded;
- Limits rights under applicable consumer-protection law; or
- Requires a customer to pay for something prohibited by warranty law.
19. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site is provided on an “as available” basis.
Greenfield does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from every security issue.
Except for an express written product warranty and rights that cannot legally be excluded, Greenfield disclaims warranties arising solely from Site access or information.
This section does not disclaim an applicable written product warranty or any implied warranty that applicable law prevents Greenfield from disclaiming.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greenfield will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising solely from Site use, loss of Site access, or an interrupted online transaction.
Where permitted by law, Greenfield’s aggregate liability arising from a direct online transaction will not exceed the amount paid for the product or transaction giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability where applicable law provides otherwise.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, a user agrees to indemnify Greenfield against third-party claims arising from the user’s unlawful conduct, infringement, fraudulent activity, unauthorized use of the Site, or material violation of these Terms.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify Greenfield for Greenfield’s own unlawful conduct.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires another result.
Any dispute may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction over the parties and subject matter.
23. Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
24. No waiver
Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive the right to enforce it later.
25. Changes
Greenfield may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.
The revised Terms will be posted with an updated effective date. Changes will not retroactively alter a completed purchase except where lawfully agreed or required.
