Why buy from Greenfield
A Greenfield original since 2006
- Invented and patented by Greenfield
- From the family that pioneered stretch marine lines in the 1990s
- Holding America's boats since 1959
Greenfield introduced Stretch 'n Slide in 2006 — the multi-loop bungee dock line the copies are measured against.
Best for
- Fuel docks, waterfront restaurants, and quick stops
- Rafting up at the sandbar
- PWC, runabouts, and small center consoles
- Crew and guests who can't tie a cleat hitch (no judgment)
Key details
- Bungee dock line with seven built-in loops — pick the one that fits and you're done.
- Sliding cinch locks it to the cleat. No knots, ever.
- 4 ft relaxed, stretches to roughly 7 ft — one line covers most tie-up distances.
- Perfect for fuel docks, restaurant stops, sandbar raft-ups, PWC, and runabouts.
Not for
- Overnight, unattended, or storm docking — use conventional mooring lines for that
- Towing or tubing — never tow with any bungee line
- Anchor line duty — that's Anchor Buddy's job
How the seven loops work
Every dock line is a compromise: too long and the boat wanders, too short and it won't reach. Stretch 'n Slide skips the compromise — seven loops along the line mean one of them is always the right length.
Drop the loop that fits over the cleat, snug the sliding cinch, and the bungee core keeps tension while absorbing the bumps and surge a solid rope passes straight to your cleats and hull.
That's the whole operation: pick a loop, drop it on, cinch. Your guests can do it on the first try — no cleat hitch required.

Why Greenfield
We pioneered stretch marine lines in the 1990s and introduced Stretch 'n Slide in 2006 because docking shouldn't require a knot-tying merit badge. It looks unusual until the first time you use one; after that, regular dock lines look unfinished.
Product questions
What is Stretch 'n Slide?
An adjustable bungee dock line with seven built-in loops and a sliding cinch — tie up or raft up in seconds without knots or guessing the right line length.
How long is it?
4 feet relaxed, stretching to roughly 7 feet — one line covers most cleat-to-cleat distances on docks and raft-ups.
Can I leave my boat on it overnight?
No. It's built for temporary docking and rafting. Use conventional mooring lines for overnight, unattended, or severe weather.
Will it work for my PWC?
Yes — PWC and jet skis are a core use, along with runabouts and small center consoles.
Is it a tow rope?
No. Never tow or pull tubes with any bungee line.
