2 PVC boat fenders (made in the USA)
They take the hit instead of your gel coat. Ribbed cylindrical PVC, 4.5 in x 16 in or 5.5 in x 20 in depending on the size you pick.
2 nylon fender lines
Cut and ready to hang, so you're not sacrificing a dock line to make fender whips.
2 Dock Buddy bungee dock lines (5 ft)
Hollow-braid polypropylene over a bungee core. The stretch turns every wake and tide surge into a pull instead of a snatch. 1,100 lb breaking strength, foam grips, and they float if you drop one.
2 Rope Locks (patented, made in the USA)
Feed the rope through and lock it — no knot. Sets fender height in seconds and holds; tested to 1,600 lb.

4.5 in x 16 in — small craft

What the bungee actually does
A boat at a dock never sits still. Wake, wind, and tide keep nudging it, and every nudge has to go somewhere.
With a plain rope dock line there's no give, so each of those nudges arrives as a jerk — at your cleat, at the dock, and at the line itself.
The Dock Buddy lines in this kit are hollow-braid polypropylene over a bungee core. The core stretches, so the same movement arrives as a pull instead of a snatch. That's the whole idea, and it's why they're rated at 1,100 lb rather than sized like string.
The fenders handle the other half of the job: they sit between the hull and the dock, so the boat leans on PVC instead of on your gel coat.

Product questions
Do I need anything else to dock with this?
No. The fenders, the fender lines, the dock lines, and the Rope Locks are all in the box. You need a cleat on the boat and something to tie to on the dock.
Which size do I need?
Go by boat length. The 4.5 in x 16 in fenders suit jet skis, PWC, skiffs, jon boats, and small runabouts up to 18 ft. The 5.5 in x 20 in fenders are for 18 to 24 ft — ski boats, pontoons, large runabouts, and cuddy cabins.
What is a Rope Lock?
A patented plastic clamp that replaces a knot. Feed the rope through, push it shut, and it holds — tested to 1,600 lb. It's how you set fender height in seconds instead of retying every time.
Is Dock Buddy the same as Anchor Buddy?
No, and it's worth getting right. Dock Buddy is the bungee dock line in this kit — it holds you to a dock. Anchor Buddy is our bungee anchor line, for holding position off a beach. Different jobs.
Do the dock lines float?
Yes. They're hollow-braid polypropylene over a bungee core, so if you drop one it floats instead of going to the bottom.
Can I leave my boat tied up on these overnight?
These are temporary docking lines — day docking, tie-ups, and time at the slip while you're around. For permanent mooring, use gear built for it.
What colors does it come in?
Black, Royal Blue, Red, and Yellow, in both fender sizes.
